A book cellar, located on Main Street in Harbor Springs, Michigan.

We are a small, independent bookstore with a knowledgeable, well-read staff; a West Highland terrier named Bunter and a beautiful cat named Whimsey. Did I mention that we are across the street from Kilwin’s Chocolates and that we have a fireplace?

We exist for several reasons: people like you support us, we are passionate about books, and we will try to put the perfect book in your hands every time, regardless of your interests. So you can see there is no point in resisting.

We are the best little bookstore in Northern Michigan. We don’t have all the books, just the ones you’ll want to read.
